*Who we are
Founded in April 1999, Yunnan Tourism Information
Network Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise registered
in the Kunming High & New Tech Development Zone.
The company has always been engaged in offering
complete solution for information orientation of
travel trade and providing tourist services. Its
major businesses include tourist E-commerce, tourist
information service, tourist E-affairs,management
over travel trade, and on-line tourism publicity
and promotion.
As the only cooperative unit designated by Yunnan
Provincial Tourism Administration in constructing
the “Yunnan Provincial Tourism Information
Center”, Yunnan Tourism Information Network
Co., Ltd. is engaged in building and managing the
largest tourist gateway server station of Yunnan
--- “Yunnan Tourism Website” (http://www.yunnantourism.com).
At present, the company is publicizing tourism of
Yunnan and offering tourist services to the whole
world in Chinese (both in simplified and traditional
form), English, Japanese, French, and German.
Since its establishment, the company has been developing
rapidly. It has collected a large number of high
quality professional talents engaged in tourist
management, internet technologies, public information
platform, software development, system integration,
marketing, and tourist guides of multi-languages.

Achievements of the Company
Construction of server stations:
1. Nominated by CNNIC to be the “Excellent
Tourism Server Station of China”
2. Entitled the “Excellent Tourist Server
Station of Yunnan” by Yunnan Information Office
and Computer Commerce.
3. The only official server station designated by
Yunnan Tourist Bureau
4. The only construction cooperative unit with the
Yunnan Tourism Channel under the website “Sina”.
5. The present monthly visiting volume has exceeded
800,000 times and the figure is steadily increasing.
6. It is linked with over 2,000 server stations
in the whole world and ranks first in over 20 top
world famous searching engines such as Google and
YAHOO.
Development and innovative study of network platform:
1. Yunnan Tourism E-commerce Network --- the project
under the “Medium and Small-sized Enterprise
Innovation Fund” sponsored by the Provincial
Science and Technology Department in November, 2000.
2. Development and study of Yunnan Digital Tourism
Information System --- the “Scientific-and-Technological-Problem-Tackling
Project” sponsored by the Provincial Science
and Technology Department in December, 2002.
